This is what we have when an entity maintains parks without thought to increasing profits or pleasing some rich shareholder somewhere. It's socialism at its finest. It's "free" because we all chip in and pay a little bit for it. And everyone benefits greatly just like Libraries, fire Departments, Police, etc. It's cheap or free because there are no rich shareholders to take out their profits at the end of the year. WE should have more of these wonderful campsites, really. Just imagine if the "privatization" madmen got ahold of these places. They'd be charging everyone up the wazoo.

Anyway, thanks for sharing. I am glad you are doing your part to keep the campsite pristine.AsianGypseh (the food lover)https://www.blogger.com/profile/08137716203543697662noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2763873292341986889.post-30061292663222118812012-04-12T06:38:39.033-05:002012-04-12T06:38:39.033-05:00Yep, we are enjoying it...had to go across the dam...Yep, we are enjoying it...had to go across the dam to plug in last night...cost us 8 bucks. Everything charged now, so we are headed to a new boondock site. Note: get your site in the middle of the week to avoid the weekend campers!the_Wandererhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03541607489106807472noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2763873292341986889.post-91817021544612222752012-04-12T00:13:43.257-05:002012-04-12T00:13:43.257-05:00I've found that in most of the less heavy traf...I've found that in most of the less heavy trafficked places... your attitude and how you keep a camp are the biggest deciding factors.

If a place is real busy they push you on, or if you keep a dirty camp and tear things up... We've stayed in locations well past the "14" day "limit"... kept our trash cleaned up and made no problems for 'em, and they didn't take the time to bother us... Kinda how it should be.Brianhttp://www.rv-boondocking-the-good-life.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2763873292341986889.post-67501490358855494052012-04-10T11:59:49.887-05:002012-04-10T11:59:49.887-05:00Looks nice!
